The Perfect Place to Learn 

Welcome to Wood Memorial. We are a Community Primary School in Saltney,
Flintshire situated on the border between Wales and England, close to the city
of Chester. Our school caters for children aged from 3 to 11 years of age.

We aim to prepare the children for their future by developing independence and encouraging enquiry based learning within a caring, supportive and stimulating environment where children can build a positive self-image.

We know the value of forming and maintaining strong partnerships between home and school and we encourage parents to be involved in all aspects of school life.

 Our mission is to include, value and celebrate each individual child and promote a lifelong love of learning.

We hope to achieve this by:
